1. Description of Services

Easy URL Shortener provides modern link management tools designed to make web links cleaner, trackable, and more accessible:

• Instant URL Shortening: Generating short links with clean 8-character Base62 alphanumeric slugs.
• Custom Slugs & Aliases: Choosing custom branded keywords for your links.
• QR Code Generation: Creating customizable, downloadable QR codes (with colors, framing, and icons) corresponding to your shortened links.
• High-Speed HTTP Redirection: Redirection executed via eziurl.com using lightweight HTTP 302 headers powered by Cloudflare edge servers.
• Click Insights & Analytics: Aggregate counts of total clicks, referring websites, broad country of origin, and device category (Mobile, Desktop, Tablet).
• Advanced Link Controls: Passcode protection, expiration schedules, and click quota caps.
• Campaigns & Organization: Grouping and organizing links into structured marketing campaigns and tracking aggregate performance.

2. User Accounts & Access

You may use basic link shortening anonymously or sign in with your Google Account to unlock the dashboard and permanent link management.

• Account Integrity: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and any session credentials associated with our service.
• Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all activities, shortened links, and content associated with your account.
• Right to Restrict: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Acceptable Use Policy.

3. Acceptable Use Policy (Prohibited Activities)

We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy against abuse. You agree that you will NOT use Easy URL Shortener or eziurl.com to create links to, promote, or distribute:

• Malicious Software: Viruses, spyware, ransomware, trojans, malicious browser extensions, or any drive-by download exploits.
• Phishing & Fraud: Deceptive pages designed to steal credentials, fake banking logins, lottery scams, or impersonation of individuals or companies.
• Unsolicited Spam: Spam links distributed via unsolicited bulk email (UCE), SMS spam, messaging bot spam, or forum flooding.
• Illegal & Abusive Content: Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual imagery, terrorist propaganda, threats of violence, or hate speech.
• Copyright & IP Infringement: Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material, pirated streams, torrents, or counterfeit goods.
• Circumvention of Bans: Re-shortening links that have been previously blacklisted, banned, or flagged for security hazards.
• Service Disruption: Attempting to overwhelm, DoS, brute-force, reverse engineer, or exploit our edge network, database, or API endpoints.

Any link found in violation of these rules will be disabled immediately and permanently without warning. We cooperate fully with law enforcement and cybersecurity agencies investigating illegal cyber activity.

4. Custom Aliases & System Paths

When selecting custom slugs (aliases):

• Custom slugs are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
• System-reserved paths (such as dashboard, api, auth, login, terms, privacy, cookies, etc.) cannot be claimed as custom aliases.
• You may not squat on trademarks or register misleading aliases intending to deceive visitors into believing you represent a brand, bank, or government organization.
• We reserve the right to reclaim, reassign, or revoke any custom slug that infringes on registered trademarks or misleads users.

5. QR Codes & Campaign Organization

When using our QR code generation and campaign grouping features:

• QR codes generated by our service redirect through our secure routing engine to your designated destination URL.
• You are responsible for testing and verifying all QR codes before printing or distributing them in physical or digital media.
• Campaign labels and groupings are provided for your administrative convenience to manage and organize link workflows.

6. External Destinations & Third-Party Content

Easy URL Shortener acts solely as a technical routing intermediary. We do not author, monitor, or endorse the content hosted on destination web pages.

When you click a short link, you will be redirected to an external third-party website that is governed by its own independent terms of service and privacy policies. We accept no liability or responsibility for any loss, damage, malware, or harm incurred by visiting external destination URLs.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Easy URL Shortener is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While our systems run across high-availability global edge networks powered by Cloudflare, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• Uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available service.
• The permanent retention or availability of any specific shortened URL.
• Fitness for a particular commercial or mission-critical enterprise purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Easy URL Shortener, its creators, maintainers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the service.

9. Changes to Terms & Services

We reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue features of Easy URL Shortener at any time. We may update these Terms of Service periodically to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting to this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
